Natur-Tox in Lafayette, CA: Smoothing Without the Tox

There’s one area that bothers you more than the rest. The elevens between your brows that stay put even when your face is at rest. The lines above your upper lip. The nose you’ve never quite liked. The jawline that’s gone soft.

You’ve thought about a neurotoxin. Maybe you’ve had one. And either way, the skin itself is still the skin itself.

Here’s what I want you to know. Natur-Tox treats the skin rather than the muscle. It’s targeted plasma, applied deliberately to the specific area driving you crazy, and it works on the things a neurotoxin was never designed to change: static lines that don’t relax, skin quality, pitting, texture, and the weathered look that decades of UV leave behind. It’s an ablative treatment, which means real healing time and a real result per session. Most people treat one or two areas. What you get back is your own skin, in the place you actually look at.

What actually changes

What you’re living with now What clients commonly describe afterward
Lines that stay put when your face is at rest Genuinely smoother, because the skin is structurally different
Deep creases that a neurotoxin softened but didn’t remove Addressed at the skin level, where the crease actually lives
Skin that looks weathered and older than the rest of you Resurfaced, so tone and texture match how you feel
Pitting, roughness, and uneven texture Smoothed
Sun damage and discoloration in a specific area Removed rather than covered
Skin that’s lost its bounce in one particular place Elasticity rebuilt where you actually need it
Spending on treatments that wear off every three months A result that builds and holds
One thing that bothers you every time you see a photograph Treated properly, on purpose

Individual results vary, and this treatment builds over months rather than appearing the day of your appointment.

Pausing the muscle and treating the skin are not the same thing

This is the whole argument, so let me make it plainly.

A neurotoxin works by stopping a muscle from contracting. The line that muscle creates stops appearing while the product is active. That’s genuinely effective for dynamic lines, meaning the ones that show up when you move, and it’s why the treatment is as popular as it is.

What it doesn’t do is change your skin.

Underneath a relaxed muscle, the skin is exactly as thin, as sun-damaged, as textured, and as low in collagen and elastin as it was before. So a few things happen. Static lines, the ones etched in and visible at rest, only partially improve, because the crease is in the skin and not just in the movement. The quality of the skin is unchanged. And when the product wears off, you’re back to where you started, because nothing was built.

Natur-Tox works on the other half. Ablative plasma removes the damaged surface layer and drives a healing response that rebuilds collagen and elastin underneath. The skin is physically different afterward: thicker, tighter, better toned, and better textured. The line softens because the tissue changed, not because the movement stopped.

Which means these aren’t competitors. They do different jobs. Plenty of my patients use a neurotoxin elsewhere for movement and come to me for the skin, and that combination works well. I don’t offer neurotoxin or filler, so I’m not trying to talk you out of anything. I’m telling you what the other half of the problem is.

This is where you look older, and it’s usually elasticity

There’s a reason certain areas age faster than the rest of your face, and it’s the same reason in every case.

Elastin is what lets skin recoil. Your body makes very little new elastin after adolescence, and what you have degrades from UV exposure and from the collagen decline that accelerates in your forties.

The areas that move most, and get the most sun, lose it first. Your brow furrows thousands of times a week. Your upper lip purses constantly. Your nose and forehead take direct sun year after year. Your jawline carries the pull of gravity.

So those areas stretch and stop coming back, while the skin around them is still holding. That’s why a face can look uneven in its aging, and it’s why treating one focal area properly often changes how the whole face reads.

That’s what this treatment is for. Not everywhere. The place that’s actually giving way.

The areas I treat

Each of these has its own page, because each behaves differently and the conversation is different.

Forehead and the elevens

The most requested area, and the one people photograph and hate. Forehead lines, the vertical elevens between your brows, crow’s feet, and the temples. Works on both dynamic and static lines, and it pairs well with a neurotoxin if you use one, because it addresses the skin the toxin can’t reach.

The upper lip

Vertical lip lines and smoker’s lines. This is one of the hardest areas in aesthetics to treat well, because there’s very little you can safely do here with either a neurotoxin or a filler, and it’s an area people are quietly and persistently bothered by.

Nose contouring

Refining the shape and slimming the appearance of the nose through skin contraction, correcting asymmetry of the nasal wings, and softening imperfections left behind by previous surgery. It also improves the skin on your nose itself, meaning pore size, blackheads, and texture.

The lower face and jawline

Jowls, jawline definition, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, and the skin around the mouth. The area where elasticity loss is most visible to the naked eye and where people notice it first.

‍And the mid face

Under-eye puffiness, cheeks, and the folds beside the nose, treated as part of a focused plan.

Being straight about the tradeoff

Natur-Tox is ablative. That word matters and I’d rather explain it than let you discover it at your consultation.

Ablative means tissue is removed at the surface. That’s what produces the resurfacing, the tone correction, and the tightening per session, and it’s why the result is stronger than anything I can do without healing time.

It also means real recovery. Depending on the area, expect four to ten days. Your skin visibly renews during that window and you’ll look like you’ve had something done. Plan for it, and don’t book it the week before an event.

Two to three sessions for most areas.

Comfort is around a four out of ten with numbing, which is more involved than my facials and considerably less than most people expect from something this effective.

And the tradeoff is worth naming plainly: you spend the healing time once or twice, and what you build stays built. There’s no three-month schedule and nothing wearing off.

If that recovery doesn’t work for your life, there are gentler options and I’ll tell you about them honestly rather than pushing you into this one.

If it’s your whole face, not one area

Natur-Tox is deliberately focal. If several areas are involved, or if what you actually want is overall correction rather than one problem solved, the #HashtagLift is usually the better use of your time and your recovery. It’s semi-ablative, treats the full face in one session, and needs about four days.

Many women do both, in sequence. Full face correction first, then targeted work on the area that still bothers them.‍ ‍

Skin boosters amplify the result

Plasma opens the door. What goes in determines how much you get out.

Depending on your skin analysis, I layer in PDRN, exosomes, peptides, or your own platelet-rich fibrin. These support healing, reduce recovery time, and drive the collagen and elastin response harder than the plasma alone would.

This isn’t an upsell tacked onto the end. The channels plasma creates are a delivery opportunity that closes within hours, and using them properly is part of how the treatment works.

Natural alternative to a neurotoxin: why women in the East Bay come here

  • The skin changes, not just the movement. Static lines, texture, tone, and pitting are addressed at the level they actually exist.

  • Nothing injected, nothing frozen, nothing to wear off. Your own tissue, contracted and rebuilt.

  • Targeted deliberately, on the area that actually bothers you rather than everywhere.

  • It works alongside a neurotoxin if you use one. I don’t offer them, so I’m not competing for that conversation.

  • Safe on every skin tone, Fitzpatrick I through VI, because plasma doesn’t target pigment. Each case monitored individually.

  • Honest about the healing time, because this is your face and you deserve to plan for it.

  • The skin analysis drives it, and I rescan so you can see whether it worked.
